EduYog is based in India and our privacy practices follow the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We keep things simple: collect only what is needed, use it only for the purpose you shared it, and protect it while we hold it.
Minimal Data Collection
We only collect essential information needed to provide our services, such as your name and email when you sign up for courses or contact us. This data is securely stored and never shared with third parties without your consent.
No Tracking or Third-Party Cookies
We respect your online privacy by maintaining a strict no-tracking policy. This includes:
- No use of ad trackers, third-party cookies, or analytics tools.
- No session recording, pixel tracking, or other invasive methods.
Secure Data Handling
Any data you share with us is processed securely and retained only for as long as needed to fulfil your request, in line with the DPDP Act's principles of purpose limitation and storage limitation.
Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or erasure of your data.
- Withdraw any consent you have previously given.
- Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data.

IP Address Logging for Security
We do not log IP addresses of visitors under normal circumstances. If malicious activity such as hacking attempts or Denial of Service (DoS) attacks is detected, we may log IP addresses to protect our platform - a legitimate use permitted under the DPDP Act.
Retention: Logged IP addresses are kept only as long as needed to address the threat, typically no longer than 30 days, and then deleted.
In serious cases, we may block malicious IP addresses or report them to the relevant authorities. If your IP has been logged, you can request access or erasure (subject to legal limits) by emailing kalpanasomalwar@gmail.com.
